- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
After an initial free consultation, I provide a proposal for monthly services based on the information provided about your business, this starts at $247/month. If you require clean up or back work, I do offer a promotional bundle when also signing on for ongoing monthly bookkeeping. After accepting the proposal, I require signing an engagement letter, but I do not require a contract, however, I do not offer partial month refunds.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After signing on for monthly services, I will require access to your QuickBooks account or have you sign up for QuickBooks Online. I am able to provide a discount of 30% off MSRP for 12 months for all new QuickBooks subscription plans. Ideally I will also need access to your business bank and credit card accounts, as well as any 3rd party apps that are used for the business, in order to efficiently complete your monthly financials. Many banks allow for accountant (read-only) access to bank accounts. If passwords need to be shared, they will be stored securely in Zoho vault. I will also need copies of any loan paperwork, asset purchase receipts or documents, business formation documents and your last tax return. This will help me to set up your account correctly, complete any clean up or back work required and begin working on your monthly bookkeeping.
