FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The estimated price given here is a starting point. A firm estimate - higher or lower - can be provided after a brief discussion concerning your needs. With the exception of the event photography, the majority of assignments I do not charge by the hour. I would much rather spend a few extra minutes making the photo as good as possible then rushing because of the clock. I give you an estimate upfront and if the situation does not change, I honor that - every time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If it wasn't clearly stated in the request, I always ask what kind of photos they are looking for and how they will be used. This information alters how I approach a job and ultimately the satisfaction of the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I regularly attend (and contribute to) ongoing educational seminars to stay current with the profession. Upgrading equipment and software is also a vital component in keeping my business up to date and functioning at the highest level.
