What we provide are easily industrial grade in comparison with other companies are proposing to use and quite frankly we are very concerned with what they are offering to the public. We also have highly educated and experienced inspectors and crews that stay here because we pay them more to retain them. From start to finish, customers are ALWAYS impressed and we work very hard to keep it that way. Coming from public service I didn't think business had the same gratifying feeling but it does here. Specifically when families are harmed by toxic mold and we come to the rescue. It's an amazing feeling and makes everyone here feel a great deal of purpose.

Mac showed up on time, and assessed the basement water problem. We set down and he gave a very clear presentation of how the company would do the extensive project to trench, and capture the water and send to the new sump pump. I scheduled the job about 4 weeks out. Mac said they are usually able to get the job done in 1 day, maybe a day and a half. A crew of 4 showed up, had the work order, and knew exactly what to do. I couldn't believe how hard these guys worked - carrying the debris out in 5 gallon buckets, rocks for french drain back in - and then the concrete - bucket by bucket. They replaced the sump pump too (wth a battery backup). and got it all done in 1 day, including clean up! Extremely happy with the project and highly recommend Basement Waterproofing Specialists.

Candace was my sales person that I met with in January, she is very knowledgable. We got the job done in May because we had to save up and paid in cash, it was a big job. The guys came and were working in the basement for 9 hours. I had to leave at 630pm and they were still there. Two days later I have a full flood in my basement of 6 inches deep. The company sent Al on Sunday whom was great, he showed that the workers never plugged in the pump. What a careless mistake to make! The concrete had not cured yet, I had food, clothes and other items that were damaged. Al was here for hours sweeping the water into the pump. My basement is now dry but I have to say it was such a careless mistake and took away from me having a pleasant experience. Al returned to replace the sink and he was very informative. My concern is with the concrete needing 48 hrs to dry. It was flooded within less than 48 hrs and it could have been avoided. It took us 4 months to save to get the job done and we hope we do not have anymore problems with basement.

Mariam, we are terribly that this mistake took the positive experience you had with our job. We have made sure to reiterate to the crews to have the pump plugged in on completion of jobs. The concrete should still be able to cure properly despite the water from the storm, but please do notify our service department with any future concerns regarding this, so that we can assist you.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is very, very simple. In fact what separates us from other companies is that we will never try to sell you more than you need. From what we hear we are the only company that will conservatively price projects and I think that's a big reason why we win so many jobs over our competition.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. Everyday in everyway we can. We are actually confident that we are the cutting edge itself. For example, we invented 404 Stainless Steel Plate foundation repair. To this day no other company utilizes this method. It's amazing because it truly is the best way.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My best friend (General Manager Scott) asked me to work here because he needed someone he could trust with everything. Law enforcement was barely paying the bills at the time and I always knew I wanted to work in a more peaceful carpentry type of profession deep down inside. I wasn't disappointed. I love everyday.
