Nothing is more satisfying than hearing yourself playing or writing a song that moves and inspires you!    With over 20 years of playing guitar, I am sharing what I’ve learned to students of all ages and experience levels! I have been teaching guitar privately since 2017 and specialize in giving lessons online from my studio over Zoom with multiple HD cameras and audio for the best experience possible. I only offer lessons online because it makes more tools available to me that I cannot use in-person and it gives me the time to teach even more students. Giving guitar lessons is not a side job, it is how I make a living so I dedicate myself to my students and what they need. We can work on learning songs, songwriting, soloing, improvising, jamming, fingerpicking, music theory, gear and more! As one of my students, we will focus not only on how to play guitar, but how to have fun as we learn and follow a custom lesson plan I’ve made specifically for you that includes PDF, MP3 and Guitar Pro file downloads. Phenomenal teacher. Dan provides exceptional explanation, guidance, and knowledge of the guitar, while also a blast to hang with and learn from for an hour. I am a retired middle/high school teacher and am currently taking guitar lessons from Dan; however I do pink around the piano so maybe that'll be next for me as I see Dan also teaches piano. Yay! Dan has alot of qualities that are helping me to really ENJOY and have FUN playing my guitar. He's always open for my questions and "wants." If there's a song I want to learn but I think it might be too difficult for me, he gladly takes the time to arrange it so that I can learn it. Dan is very positive, upbeat, calm, and patient. I retired a few years ago and was looking for a new hobby and decided on learning to play the guitar. Daniel responded quickly to my request for information and I decided to take my first lesson with him. My first lesson was very informative and very comfortable as Daniel is very patient with new students. Daniel is a very talented musician and has the ability to work with those who have never picked or plucked a string before - like me. He makes playing the guitar fun and his teaching method is easy to understand especially when you're the proverbial "old dog" trying to learn a new trick. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As for discounts, I am giving the first 30-minute lesson free for new students! All of my costs are upfront with no hidden fees or charges for virtual lessons! 30 minutes - $30 per lesson 45 minutes - $45 per lesson 60 minutes - $60 per lesson
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When it comes to new students I first want to answer any initial questions they have and to get to know them a little bit. I want to learn about their skill level (even absolute beginners), what music they like and want to play and figure out the best route to achieve their goals!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing music for over 20 years now, primarily guitar and piano. Learning how to play my favorite songs and to write new songs became a passion in my life as I explored both the self-taught route and private lessons to improve my lessons and learn more about music. That experience in both in and out of personal instruction gives me bigger insight into what the average student needs and how they can skip potential pitfalls.
