Montana Tradesmen recently completed a fairly extensive remodeling project in my home, consisting of whole house painting, staircase renovation, installation of new flooring, conversion of a wood burning fireplace to gas, and a complete update of a brick fireplace facade. To say I’ve been extremely pleased with the outcome would be an understatement. The jobs have been completed beautifully and to our complete satisfaction, and we have been enjoying our “new” home so much more than ever before. Not only this, but the project was completed on time and under budget, not something you experience very often these days. From the very first conversation I had with Gray Montana, I knew he was a different type of contractor. Over the course of working with him, I came to realize there are several attributes that set him and his team apart from the rest. One, he is not just a general contractor, but also a professional designer. This means that you have his input on how to implement your vision for your home, but also, and perhaps most importantly, it greatly streamlines the entire process from start to finish. He removes all the checkpoints and middle men from the project (architects, engineers, designers, etc) thereby saving time, money, and burden on his clients. He and his team do it all, and do it very well! Secondly, he is a truly talented craftsman, committed to sourcing the highest quality materials and using innovative remodeling and refinishing techniques that will ensure longevity and durability. Last, but certainly not least, Gray and his team are truly amazing people. They are attentive, really listening to your needs and desires, and work tirelessly to ensure they can make them happen. And if something isn’t feasible or recommended, they are quick to come up with an alternative solution. They are friendly, funny, meticulous, professional yet personable, and they always make sure to leave the job site at the end of the day cleaner than they found it. They never leave a job site until you are 100% satisfied and even then, if you discover something after project completion, one call to Gray and they are immediately there to correct it. After having worked with many contractors, these are, indeed, rare qualities that set Montana Tradesmen apart. Your home is a reflection of you and your personality and working with Montana Tradesmen will guarantee that your space will become your oasis. I wholeheartedly recommend that anyone with any home improvement or custom build project, no matter how big or small, consider Montana Tradesmen for the job. Quality and ease of process are second to none and will make you wish you had found them sooner!

Five stars are not given often, but Gray and his team deserve them. My family had a big 8 month project and our family is grateful for their work, PROFESSIONALISM and respect to our living space during construction.Gray helped us from all scope of project from beginning to end.Planning, Design, Drawings, Permits, Size of HVAC, Engineering specs for Truss and bunch of other things. If we had an issue or questions, he never made us feel like we were asking dumb questions. Always said, "How can I make it better?" His lighting suggestions with recessed lights with multiple wall lights were perfect. Subtle detail he recommended with kitchen cabinets and counter tops were great. He is very resourceful with where he gather his quality materials. He even drove down to pick up flooring materials from Richmond, VA.I have more work that will need and Gray is the only person that I am going to call. There is nobody else. I have been spoiled by level of service and I want to gate keep this team from rest of Bucks county, but it is what it is.

Gray and his team were wonderful to work with for so many reasonsMost importantly, Gray is a very honest man. We have had other contractors in the past that have not been honest so working with Gray was a breath of fresh air. From the beginning of our project, he gave us a few options of how to go about fixing our basement bathroom. He was professional and realistic. His prices were also very fair. We also had a few appliances installed in our bar area and molding and paint needed to be done. From the beginning to end of our project it was so easy to work with gray and his team. Bonus, theyre super clean and leave your house spotless at the end of every working day. We will absolutely be working with gray in the future!!!

Working with Gray Montana and his team of Tradesmen on our dream project has been educational, rewarding and nothing short of delightful. Personally, I have been in the Design & Building space for 40 years from Architecture and Design to Corporate Facilities Planning to Residential Construction and ultimately to Sustainability Consulting. It is with this experience in mind that I feel obliged to elaborate. So kindly grab a chair and your favorite sipping beverage as I explain.I have a deep respect and appreciation for clear communication, mutual transparency and responsive customer service. When our Architect introduced us to Gray, we had an immediate sense that these three criteria would be met. Gray informed us that he had a chance to review the drawings and specs provided by our Architect (with permission) and that he would have pricing information including allowances (placeholders) for less defined line items in a week (which he provided). He also shared his values regarding the importance of mutually trusting relationships, his business practices, and his openness to customer preferences and creativity through regularly scheduled meetings. This last feature has been a blessing in terms of demonstrating how to balance scope, schedule and budget to arrive at the magical sweet spot of safe construction, practical function, and beautiful aesthetic. Gray learns about us while we learn about him as well as design sensibility, construction technique, energy efficiency and cost responsibility. Our project has been complex (to us) in that our scope includes a Kitchen Addition, all new mechanical/HVAC systems for the existing house and the addition, structural connections between the existing footprint and the addition from the basement to the roof, a primary bath gut job, laundry room relocation, custom finish carpentry in existing spaces and more.Gray has been open to ideas, suggestions, additions, deletions, etc throughout the project. As long as he becomes aware of something ahead of time and it can be performed in phase, e.g., Demo, Framing, Plumbing, Electric, he can offer on-the-fly budget impacts that make decision-making easier and cost efficiencies that benefit the client.Gray and his team never lose sight of meeting and yes, exceeding -- client expectations as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible from leadership to each individual on the team. They have even helped us get through some inconvenient circumstances generously without complaint saving us untold stress and aggravation. Everyone shows up on time with a smile and greeting, works hard all day, and cleans up before they leave. Everyone no really, EVERYONE -- seems to enjoy the work and takes pride in every phase of it. In all honesty, Ive never experienced this before.but I certainly hope to again.
