FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of my work is done on a flat-fee basis. That means you don't need to worry about surprise hourly charges or the conflicts of interest that come with paying commissions. When we discuss your specific needs I'll give you a quote- the price you see is the price you pay.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first phone call is always free. After gathering some information I'll let you know if I think I can help. If so, I'll let you know an estimated price and send you an engagement letter to sign so we can get started. There's never any pressure to make a decision on the spot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Associate in the Society of Actuaries (ASA). I also have a degree in both Accounting and Finance. Despite all of that, the most important training has been the experience of helping hundreds of clients with their tax and financial questions.
