FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For our financial planning clients, the initial meeting and consultation is complimentary. This way I can meet with you and let you tell me what your goals and needs are and see if we are a good fit for one another. For my tax preparation services, I have a standard pricing system. For a simple non complex return my charge starts at $180 for Federal, State and Local tax preparation. For a Business return it starts at $225 and for any kind of accounting services it is a flat rate of $50 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually have a phone conversation or an initial meeting to discuss their needs and their specific situation. After the initial conversation if they are interested in moving forward and working with me, then we will schedule a follow up meeting to address and go over their concerns and services we discussed. And if it is more convenient for them I usually am able to come and meet with them in the comfort of their home or office. For the tax season, I provide my new clients with a Tax Organizer that will help them gather all of their tax information.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a been doing financial planning for 10 years now and taxes for 22 years and annually complete the Annual Filing Season Program required by the IRS. I also have a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Robert Morris University.
