Introduction
My goal is to create a professional end product that will 1) meet *and hopefully* exceed your expectations, 2) capture the special moments in your life in high resolution and 3) bring a smile to your face [maybe even a tear or three] I began photographing and filming events in 2013 as a side business but put it on hiatus to focus on my young family and career in 2017. Recently, with the kids being a little older and a supportive wife, I am able to dedicate more time and energy to this passion. *My main setup is a Sony a7IV paired with a Tamron 35-150 f2-2.8 (as of September 2023)

Hertz was great to work with! He takes beautiful, natural looking photos and I received the photos back very quickly. He was extremely professional and easy to work with. I love the photos from my mom’s 60th birthday. He took some beautiful candid family photos. I highly recommend him for event photography.

I messaged Hertz on Thumbtack a few days before we needed him for a very tiny, intimate ceremony in our home. I could not have asked for more regarding how well Hertz communicates, right down to let us knowing when he would arrive on the morning we requested. I had very little direction for Hertz, as we weren't originally planning on having a photographer present, but he made magic out of the little we provided him. In fact, some of the pics are so good we can use them for our family holiday card! I'd use Hertz again without hesitation, and recommend him to the highest degree!

Hertz was great to work for our engagement proposal shoot. I coordinated with Hertz a few months before I proposed. He was super responsive and flexible with the dates as I was not sure how the weather would be for my surprise proposal. On the week of the proposal, we connected on the phone and talked through the logistics and I felt very comfortable with trusting he would be able to take great photos. On the day of, we were able to exchange locations and he even started a sunrise hike really early so I could get there with my girlfriend after. Hertz was super accommodating, and we were able to do a photoshoot at the top and not feel rushed. Our pictures were great and we also got a video of the proposal. Highly recommend working with Hertz!
