As a Nationally Board Certified Teacher with over 25 years of experience, I have had the opportunity to work with students across a broad range of abilities. My approach is centered on identifying each student’s strengths and expanding upon them, which has consistently led to improved academic outcomes, even for students who faced initial challenges. Lessons are tailored to individual interests, allowing students to engage with relevant and meaningful material. I also help students develop both short- and long-term goals, ensuring that they have a voice in their learning process. This goal-oriented approach helps create a clear path to success. With a deep understanding of how the brain learns, I am able to provide strategies that make learning more effective. By front-loading information and helping students see the bigger picture, I aim to create connections that enhance their ability to process and retain material. The focus is always on providing perspective and fostering long-term growth.
