FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Philadelphia Downsizing proudly offers an Introductory 1.5-hour Mini-session for new clients who wish to try our services. During this session, we will discuss your goals, asses the size of your downsizing or decluttering project and scope out a Downsizing or Decluttering Action Plan based on your budget and timeline. You can then work through your action plan on your own, or hire us to assist further. We offer flexible service options that will be discussed during a phone consultation. A popular option is our Decluttering Service, which provides hands-on help with sorting and selecting belongings to release from your home.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step would be to set up a call to discuss your needs and initial expectations for your downsizing or decluttering process. Your timeline to move and your main concerns about embarking on this journey are some of the information I'd like to learn from you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Before starting my own business, I worked for a large company in the senior move management / downsizing industry. I am a member of the National Association of Senior & Specialty Move Managers (NASSMM). I am also experienced as a licensed real estate salesperson in Pennsylvania with expertise in staging and preparing a house for the market.
