- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start off with all the ideas and designs my customer has listening carefully to what they envision their cake to look like. I then take that and come up with a sketch for them to make their cake look as unique as they are.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in Economics and went on to get my associates in pastry arts from the The Restaurant School in Philadelphia. I have worked in the pastry kitchen at Marriott Hotel in Philadelphia. I also have worked at local bakeries with other Cake Artists which allowed me to hone my skills.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of customers, which is why I love doing what I do. Every cake means a different person with amazingly different ideas and I thrive on the challenge of creating those designs.
