- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My minimum fee is $750 for a solo performance. Typically I can perform up to 3 hours for that price. Because every project is different, I'm happy to provide custom price quotes tiered for up to a 6 piece band. I also offer "packages" for weddings that include ceremony and cocktail hour, and/or the reception. This way you can find the perfect balance for your budget and music entertainment needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically the customer will email me to start the conversation. We'll then schedule a quick call to go over specifics. From there, I will issue a contract and take a 50% deposit to hold the date. Any questions and follow up calls are welcomed once the date is confirmed. The balance is due on the day of the performance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a classically trained pianist and singer. I have 2 music degrees (Bachelor of Music: Vocal performance, Master of Music: Choral Conducting). I am a self-taught guitar player, and have experience on many other instruments as well. My education is what first gave me the opportunities to be on a stage performing in front of others. I now perform regularly as a soloist/duo/trio/band at over 50 events a year.
