Our daughter Elizabeth just loves taking violin lessons from Dorothy. Dorothy is such a good role model and teacher. It amazes me how much our daughter has learned in the past few years since she started lessons with Dorothy. Highly recommend her!

Dorothy really connects with my child. Her teaching style makes my child feel comfortable and that my child can accomplish her goals. Dorothy is a very knowledgable instructor. She is timely, kind, patient, flexible and has a great sense of humor. My child and I are happy to have found her and I highly recommend her as a violin instructor.

Dorothy and Julia were consummate professionals. They were very accommodating with all my music selections. On the day of my son’s wedding, the weather was absolutely scorching yet they played beautifully and never complained. So many of the guests remarked how perfectly the music complimented the ceremony. I would not hesitate to book again and I highly recommend them.

Dorothy played violin for my September wedding ceremony as well as the violin part for our first dance song. She is a true professional and an all around pleasure to work with in any capacity! Her skills with the violin have only increased over the past few years and she is an absolutely beautiful player. I could seriously listen to her playing all day. Additionally, Dorothy was very helpful in picking out the music for the ceremony. I have a lot of experience singing with choirs during Catholic masses but I was overwhelmed by trying to select pieces to use during our mass and wedding ceremony. Dorothy and I Skyped, she played little segments to remind me of the songs and then we made our selections together. Thanks to her guidance, this process was quick and painless. She also worked long distance with the church music director and I heard only positive feedback from the other musicians and church staff. Even with being states away from me and the church, Dorothy pulled off a beautiful set without even breaking a sweat. I can still hear the sounds of her beautiful violin on our wedding day and it brings such joy to think about. If you are considering Dorothy for any project, do not hesitate. She is the best decision you could possibly make!
