FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to charge an hourly rate so I can tailor my services to the specific needs of the client and scope of work for the project. I find that my design fees end up averaging around 10% to 15% of the overall project budget. If a client wants a fixed fee or hourly rate with a not-to-exceed amount, I'm happy to provide one after I have more details about the project scope of work, level to service desired and designer involvement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process for working with any client is to discuss your needs and vision for the project. This includes technical requirements like scope of work, budget and timeline as well as the aesthetic and functional goals like layout and space planning, desired look and style of the space and ultimately how the space should feel and operate upon completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two bachelor's degrees. My first degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Art History from the College of Santa Fe and my second degree is a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Arizona State University.
