- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The Repair Process ● We do not stock parts (with the exception of some hardware and commonly used batteries), so we typically need to schedule a technician to diagnose the issues. If technician can make repairs without parts he will do so. ● The diagnostic visit is $150 (Plus Tax in Washington) ● If parts are needed to complete the repair then we provide you with an estimate for the second trip in 3-5 business days. ● Estimates require approval before parts are ordered for repair. ● You may schedule your repair two weeks following estimate approval.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Sometimes we'll schedule via the Thumbtack application, but often-times we'll ask for your phone number reach out via phone and/or text to find a time for service. We have holiday, weekend, and rush services available for a $50 fee.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Fitness Machine Technicians began in Malvern, Pennsylvania in 2002. Jesse (owner) - MN Air National Guard C-130 jet engine mechanic (9 years). High school counselor (10 years). Bryson (Service Manager) - Co-founder's son, 3 year apprenticeship, 2 years as service manager in Portland.
