In 2022, it was discovered that I had water damage and mold in the basement of my 1920s home. I demolished the entire space and had mold remediation done. In an effort to solve for future water issues, I consulted with Rock Solid Waterproofing and decided to contract the company to install their full waterproofing and drainage system in my basement.In hindsight, I think this was one of the biggest mistakes I made on my home. I advise anyone who is considering this, especially on an older home, consult with multiple companies and be sure to address exterior drainage first (e.g. gutter covers, gutter extenders, French drain, drywall, etc.). I am a new homeowner, and to this day, am confident that Rocksolid Waterproofing took advantage of my lack of knowledge in this space, advised me on their very expense, costly waterproofing, and damaged my home as a result of this.For additional context, I had the waterproofing done in August and by the first heavy rain, I had multiple issues. This includes flooding in the crawl space (which they supposedly waterproofed), a sump pump that broke during that first heavy rain, and an entire night of wet-vacuuming my basement , which was newly finished. After weeks of doing the work, the cement that they poured had cracked and the waterproofing they did in my crawl space had tape falling off and pieces of waterproofing material detaching from the crawl space wall. In addition to this, I have had to do additional, costly work on my home to fix the impact of the company removing a support beam from my crawl space (which was patched together with some random wood).As of today, the waterproofing, especially in my crawl space is a loss. I actually taped pieces of it back together with plumbers tape instead of having the company back to do a fix under warranty. The work was so bad, there is just no point. I have been hesitant to write this review in case I ever truly need to try to flex on the warranty, but was not comfortable having others go through the same experience that I have had. If I could go back in time, I never would have done this work, but what is done is done. Hopefully, my experience will help others who are considering how best to take care of their older home.

Our 1880's home needed foundation repair caused by root damage. We got 3 estimates. Rock Solid had the best solution for our situation at what seemed a reasonable price.Ben, our sales person, was responsive and helpful. He was always available to us from start to finish, developing the scope of work and quote, modifying it at our request to add a "rat slab" and helped with scheduling. A great point person.Josh, our project manager, reviewed the solution with us and kept us informed of progress. We really appreciated his concern for solving the problem and not just doing the work.The crew that came to do the work (Josh, Chris, Fraser) was also excellent -- professional, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. Their work was thorough and neat. Before we could ask them to push the washer/dryer to the wall, they had everything hooked back up and cleaned up. We were very impressed with their service.We expected foundation repair to be messy and unpleasant. However we found working with this team a pleasant experience.
