Introduction
I've been a personal trainer for 15+ years and love that I get to utilizing my knowledge and experience to help others along their journey. During our sessions we’ll talk about nutrition & hydration, past injuries & muscular imbalances, gut health, inflammation, your motivational factors, and how it all works together. It sounds like a lot but when we break it down you’ll find that it’s not as complicated as you may have thought. During this process we’ll put together a plan specific to your needs and keep you progressing towards your goals. With every client it is my goal to empower you with as much information as possible so you have the tools to do it all on your own if/when you choose to do so. For our first meeting I like to put new potential clients through an easy workout to get a feeling for where they're at and also so they can get a feel for my style and energy. This is a complimentary workout/consultation. I work with clients outdoors in various parts of the Portland area... at their jobs, homes, and any other locations that we have access to. All you have to do is show up with a yoga mat and water and I'll have all the equipment set up and waiting for you. Working with Ben to build greater strength and fitness has been an incredibly positive experience. Ben’s knowledge and expertise make each workout different and challenging and his personal integrity is reflected in his punctuality, professionalism and true concern for my fitness goals. We are so grateful that we connected with Ben. He is exactly the type of trainer we needed. He is thoughtful and intentional about the work out plans, he is agile enough to adjust the routine in the moment if we say something is too sore to workout, and he pushes us to do more than we think we can to acheive results without overworking the body. The daily routines are a balance of consistent exercises that we can learn to do on our own, coupled with variety in the locations for workouts and different routines. That helps maintain our interest and motivation. Ben also makes great recommendations about diet and food choices. He is a genuinely nice guy to know, and we highly recommend him.

Ben is a great trainer. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a training on their own terms. He tailors workouts to my specific needs while pushing me to make progress. He is very attentive to form and very communicative to make sure workouts and his coaching is exceeding expectations. He is always on time, always has a challenging workout is always professional. Ben has been very timely, professional and supportive in coaching my son. I was a bit nervous about setting up a personal trainer for him given he has had some bad experiences with prior coaches in school settings but Ben put him at ease right away and has been a big part of increasing his drive to get healthy and fit. He has provided a good balance of education, inspiration and encouragement. I cannot say enough good things about Ben's work so far. So glad we connected!

After 3 sessions, Ben has given me valuable information, answered all my questions, and given me great workouts that are perfect for my busy schedule and abilities.
