Introduction
I want to help you find your path to make significant and sustainable health changes. There isn't a "highway" to fitness. Everyone's path is distinct, and there is a reason why what works for a friend or family member, might not work for you. In my 12 years as a fitness professional I am able to give my clients scientifically backed, personalized programs. I consider all aspects of their health, including exercise and diet history, disabilities, body restrictions, and preferences. I specialize in working with the middle-aged and older adult and provide them with safe and proper exercise programs. I come to my client's preferred location with an exciting and carefully planned workout, all the necessary equipment, and myself to guide and motivate you.

I was very skeptical at first about hiring a personal trainer. I did not want a drill sergeant-type experience, but knew I needed help with overall body toning and strengthening. Luciano has developed a work out plan that is just right for me. He listens to what I am trying to achieve. He keeps me motivated by changing the workout each session and challenging me. He is helping me to improve in areas that I am weak, but is also helping me to enhance areas where I have strength.

I've only been working with Luciano a few weeks, but already it has been so worth it. The workouts push me to work hard and reach my goals. He is always encouraging and supportive.

Lou has now been working with me for three weeks, and I'm very happy with how things are going. He is articulate, knowledgeable, and working hard to design a program that will work for me. YEA!!!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

An initial consultation helps us get to know each other a little better. We discuss your goals, exercise history, nutrition and diet history – what has worked for you and what hasn’t, ways in which you manage stress, interests and hobbies, family, and occupation. Then I give you an evaluation on what you've mentioned, and an outline of what a LucianoFit program can offer. It’s basically like a date. We will get to know each other quite quickly and be able to tell if we are a good fit. For those who decide to start a program, the relationship building starts at the initial consultation and continues as we achieve their goals. You may book a consultation directly from my website.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a graduate of SUNY Brockport with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and am also a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA. As a professional member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), I stay informed about current issues, advancements, and research in the field. I remain updated about new developments in health and fitness through the study and analysis of field-specific literature in the Strength and Conditioning Journal as well as the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. There are constant developments and new ideas brewing within the exercise field. Continuing education is vital in order to be a successful Personal Trainer.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with a number of diverse populations. From elementary students all the way to the elderly. I have educated many on nutrition, exercise, and healthy living. However, my main focus is geared toward combining convenience and comfort with expert fitness instruction as an In-Home Fitness Trainer.
