Introduction
Hi, I'm Constance! I am the owner of Concore Training based in Portland, OR. My passion is helping my clients understand the importance of connecting to & being aware of their body to achieve their goals. Whether your goals are oriented towards weight loss, sports performance, aesthetics -- or simply to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle -- allow Concore Training to get you there the right way. My goal is to help you achieve long lasting results with an individually designed fitness program. -- PRIVATE SESSIONS & HOW I WORK I am currently training in a fully equipped, private gym with no membership fee. The process begins with getting to know you. Our first meeting starts with a complimentary one-on-one consultation to learn about your background and goals. We will cover any pertinent injuries, current limitations, and answer any questions you may have. A physical assessment to learn about your movement patterns will follow to gather important data that will dictate the design of your individualized program. A profile will be created for you on a web-based application that will enable you to have access to all of your workouts, benchmarks and nutrition (optional). Your results will be reviewed and updated weekly. Your program develops according to your own pace. Your training and support do not stop there -- quarterly consultations take place to track progress and evaluate goals. -- MY BACKGROUND & PAST EXPERIENCE Prior to becoming a fitness coach, I worked as a financial accountant for a real estate property management firm. My days in the office were sedentary, mostly spent sitting in front of a computer. Long hours at work made it hard to get motivated to go to the gym. My body was starting to suffer. Poor posture and compensatory movement patterns became an everyday habit. These habits manifested pain and finally injury down the road. It wasn’t until I developed my first back injury that I began to prioritize movement back into my life. I began working with a trainer and started to notice that small improvements in my diet and physical activity had positive effects on my overall wellbeing. I learned about the importance of core stability and was able to strengthen weak muscles that attributed to my injury. I fell in love with the process and realized that sharing these discoveries with others was what I wanted to do with my life. Prior to starting my own business, Concore Training, I serviced over 3000 sessions and earned master trainer status at a well-known membership gym. With this opportunity I was able to achieve a great amount of exposure and experience in training all kinds of people with different needs. Understanding your goals is the gateway to helping you achieve them, and that is my priority. I want to make an impact on people the right way. Helping my clients understand the importance of connecting to and being aware of their body to achieve their goals is what drives me. This knowledge opens the door to growth in confidence, accountability and self-sufficiency. Here is what we are doing to ensure client safety and comfort: + implemented huge air circulation fans throughout the gym: one sits in the window to bring in clean air, another pushes that clean air into the facility, and a third takes that air and pushes it outside the building. This ensures a constant, fresh circulation of clean air. + large air purifiers with HEPA filters placed throughout the space. + clients must wash/sanitize hands when entering & leaving the gym + face coverings are required + only 5 people will be allowed to train at once + implemented enhanced cleaning & disinfecting protocols, using Prokure & Re-Juv-Nal (EPA-approved) + deep clean/disinfect, in addition to constant maintenance -- If you have any questions about me, my training style, or anything above, please don't hesitate to contact me. I have been working with Constance for almost a year and have seen incredible gains in strength and muscle development, which were my big goals. And she has made it so much fun! I look forward to every workout and am always challenged to do more than I thought possible. Constance started out by guiding me to really understand my body and how to engage breathing and the right muscles for proper form, so I feel very comfortable with the lifts I do and confident that I will not hurt myself with heavier weights. I cannot recommend Constance highly enough!

I came to Constance after being intimidated by the weight section at my gym. I had just turned 41, and I was on a mission to build my strength and confidence. I learned so much about the importance of core strength and stability to avoid injury. I met weekly, was given a workout routine to do on my own, and we talked about my nutrition as well. Constance makes the sessions enjoyable. She is fun to laugh with, friendly, but she pushes you to be your best self. I had some emotional breakdowns that she talked me through and I learned to break through the limits I had set for myself. It is an incredible feeling. I am moving out of state, and I will miss our in person sessions. Lucky for me I can still opt for the virtual check-ins and build a new routine from a distance. (Can't get away that easy!) 💪 Get ready to sweat and feel invincible!!

Constance is amazing trainer. I came to her out of shape and with injuries from cross-fit. She worked with me, really focusing on form and i'm much stronger now! She's really easy to talk to and schedule with, too.

Constance is the absolute best trainer I have ever had. Hands down! Not only is she responsive to your overall goals, but she takes care in your sessions to deliver the best workout for your body that day, based on how your body is feeling on that particular day, because let's be honest, not every single day is the same, and sometimes you need something different, she is a pro at rolling withe the punches. She is extremely knowledgable in all the exercises, body parts, and how to optimize perfomance. She also has hawk vision and can see when your body is "cheating" or trying not to use the muscles it's suppsed to be using for a particular exercise. Best of all though, she is funny, kind, empathetic, and has an amazing personality. It's a joy to spend time with her in the gym.

Constance has been a great trainer for me. I have been a couch potato all my life and every attempt to get in shape on my own has ended in pain. Constance was referred to me, especially in light of my scoliosis, which she has expert knowledge about. She works with me where I am and then pushes me to get to the next level. I've worked with her for two years now, through times I worked out on my own 3x/week, and through times I only worked out with her. She consistently found ways to encourage me while challenging me to work hard. Constance emphasizes correct form in every session. I know if I have any problem with a move she will review it with me until I'm comfortable. I'm confident I'm learning to move correctly so I won't injure myself working out by myself. I'm so grateful I started working with Constance. I've worked out more in the last two years than in my entire life. I would recommend her warm, friendly, and knowledgeable approach to anyone looking for a trainer.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    + Individual sessions: $115/session/hour + Semi-private sessions (no more than 3 people at a time): $75/session/hour + Remote Coaching: $250/month flat rate

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Our first meeting is a complimentary consult which covers answering your questions and gathering information on medical history, lifestyle, current fitness level and goals. This consult is in person to assure compatibility as well as making sure you are comfortable with the training space. We will eventually go through a physical assessment to evaluate the way your body moves so we can take the necessary steps in moving forward to create an individualized program for you.
