- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
These are special discount rates while I'm gaining traction on Thumbtack. Expect rates to increase in 6-12 months.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask them about their goals & intentions for the project. I ask the client to imagine their life after organizing. How will this improve your life? I offer a free 30-min consultation or virtual home tour to discuss the project. Upon arrival, we do a walkthrough of the space to view the project areas, ask questions, and see what storage is available. Sometimes we sit together and go through piles of clothes, books, or papers to help make decisions and keep momentum going. Sometimes, I measure the cabinets or drawers and go shopping for storage solutions to propose. Then I work on implement chosen solutions. Often I'm facilitating the session by sorting items, labeling bins, answering questions, researching disposal options, and making checklists of follow-up tasks. I also can help with filing systems, organizing hacks, tidying lessons, and personal productivity. If you have a lot to accomplish, I can give you homework to do between sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently completed Marie Kondo's training seminar, and am now an official Consultant in Training in her popular KonMari Method. Take advantage of my low intro rates, as I build hours towards full certification, if you're interested in using or learning this method.
