- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
1.) Our hourly price covers 2 movers. They will always bring a hand truck, floor dolly and lifting straps. 2.) We can also provide tools for assembling furniture and furniture padding upon request. 3.) We can provide additional packing and moving materials for a fee (fee depending on the materials requested) 4.) We do not provide a truck with this price. Let us know if you need help organizing a truck rental. 5.) We charge a travel fee for certain jobs if they’re over 10 miles away. We are based out of portland. This would be discussed and agreed upon prior to scheduling the job. 6.) We charge a $20 fee per flight of stairs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1.) Agree upon a date and time for the move. 2.) Setup a phone call to go over all of the details of the move. This can also be done via text or messaging on the Thumbtack app. 3.) Making a confirmation call the day before the move.
