FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is a guarantee that the job will get done. It may seem high as an hourly rate, but it covers expertise, tools, transportation, and peace of mind that your problem will be solved.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact, Define, Confirm, Provide. After first contacting the customer, I like to define what exactly it is they need, what is the size, shape, and complexity of a project. For simpler projects this may include an initial price estimate. After defining the project or getting first-hand information by surveying the site, I like to confirm that we are on the same page about what is being done and what is needed. This may be an ongoing part of the process. The most obvious next step is to actually provide the service I have been hired for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was born and raised as a carpenter, spent a decade as a welder and metal fabricator, completely renovated my own house, and have been fixing and building things for friends and family as long as I can remember.
