FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Good Life Cleaning is right in the middle as far as prices go. We are competitive and always able to offer discounts to those that serve or have served in the United States Military and seniors above the age of 60. Each carpet cleaning company has its own standards of cleaning and standardized pricing. When you have questions about about what the cost will be, have us out for an inspection to determine exactly the price you will pay. Good Life stands behind the estimate, never adding hidden fees. At Good Life Cleaning we believe in the golden rule. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process starts with a phone call where we discuss your needs, carpets, upholstery, ducts or dryer vents. The level of soiling or issues that need to be resolved. The price is quoted over the phone as an estimate which is usually right on par. The schedule is set with a two hour window in which we will arrive. We'll call or text when we are approximately 15 to 30 minutes from arrival. We do ask that you vacuum prior to us arriving, it just helps the process right along. Touring the home is the first thing we like to do and discuss the process for each cleaning need. Review the worksheet, get your initial approval and begin. We'll start in the farthest part of the home and work our way backwards to the entry point. Your carpets will dry anywhere from 1 to 12 hours because we are using the hot water extraction method also known as steam cleaning. Yes, you can and are allowed to walk on your carpet with clean shoes and please be careful, going from the carpet to the tile may be slippery. On the way out we like to clean the entry mat. During the payment process we like to book your next appointment and offer a great reduction in price when you book and keep your appointment for within the next six months.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Carpet cleaning has it's own independent certification institution called the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration). I have been certified in the CCT (carpet cleaning technician) and WRT (water damage restoration technician) since the early 2000's. I have worked with and for a handful of professional cleaning and restoration companies in the past and feel like I have taken the best information from all of them and apply it in my daily cleanings.
