Introduction

I live and breathe music. My wife plays clarinet, my daughter plays flute and sings. It's in my DNA, I love listening to music and supporting the local musicians that come into town. What makes me different from other guitar teachers is I'm a person first. I help people learn at their own pace and will help anyone who has been told any excuse in the book that would cause a person to not pursue guitar. I am the guitar coach that helps internally motivate my students to see that the only thing that can stop a student from progressing is the student. If you dont have a guitar I can help you find the right one for you, to save on time and money. I have a jam situation ready to set up, any time you want that feel of playing with a real band. I am one of the only teachers in my area I know that give guitar recitals, and students have gotten paid gigs and joined successful bands from this. They have also went to college to be successful in their musical journey. I love helping others reach their next level in learning guitar for the first time. So far so good! Our son just had his first lesson and it seemed to go really well. What I appreciate about Tim is the time he took before the first lesson to get to know about our son’s needs. He was easy to work with to find a lesson time that accommodates our busy schedule and also a way to teach the lesson remotely. I’m looking forward to this journey. Thanks Tim!

I am very happy that I found a very good guitar instructor, after trying college clasess and having to drop off because the instructor did not fit my needs. Mr Bischof has been the instructor that I was looking for, he is very patient and also tells me in a very good way when I am not doing it rigth, I recomend him for adults and for kids too.

Tim is very patient and a good listener. He takes the time to explain things until I understand them. He is a wonderful encourager and has allowed me to learn at my own pace without pressure to move faster...and that is very important to this 50 year old who is learning to play her first instrument. The reason I did not rate him as outstanding is simply because I have nothing to compare to and felt unqualified to make such a claim. I would very much recommend him to others wanting to learn to play the guitar.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I find that I'm lower than most studios, due to me not having to rent out any special equipment. I have all the tools my clients need to exceed their expectations.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with people and get familiar with who they are, and what they are looking for. That way I know what kind of music they like, who are their musical influences, what kind of songs they would like to play.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I have taken a college level harmony and theory course. I also attended and completed a Praise Guitar workshop from John Standefer, a winner of The National Fingerstyle contest. I also attended The 2016 Britt Festival Guitar workshop and was the assistant to the teacher. I have a Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management. I read guitar world, watch guitar videos, read books, forums, play Rocksmith, watch Youtube or do anything to stay up to date and learn what's out there.
