We visited from out of town and needed guidance for most aspects of our wedding. Our ceremony was unorthodox, to say the least—it involved an eventful hike to our desired spot. While the weather miraculously decided to cooperate, that was purely by chance. Through it all, our officiant Amanda was right there with us, ready to face whatever challenges came our way.
I can’t express how invaluable Amanda was throughout our journey. For her, this wasn’t just a quick ceremony. She guided us through the entire process of legalizing our marriage, providing clear information about hours, locations, costs, and timelines. As visitors unfamiliar with the area, this was priceless.
Amanda curated a personalized ceremony that felt uniquely ours. It included sweet inside jokes and meaningful touches that made the day so special. She arrived on time, dressed impeccably, and spoke clearly so all our guests could hear. Beyond that, she even took the time to share recommendations for places to visit during our stay.
When a large earthquake and tsunami warning occurred at our destination, Amanda went above and beyond by messaging us during our flight to ensure we were safe and to provide advice on what to do once it passed. I remember asking her what inspired her to become an officiant, and she shared that she loved micro and elopement-style weddings and wanted to ensure couples could have those meaningful, intimate experiences. That spoke volumes about her kind and thoughtful nature.
All in all, Amanda exceeded every expectation. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made our wedding unforgettable. I am beyond thankful to have had her by our side on such an important day.
