FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The first lesson is a trial where students will get accustomed to my virtual platform, understand how lessons work, set some goals and even start playing a tune! This allows students to get a sense of how my lessons flow. Following the trial session, I offer three options for lesson durations: 30 minute lessons priced at $31, 45 minute lessons are priced at $45 and 60 minute lessons priced at $57. These lessons are tailored to the individual needs and preferences of each student, ensuring a personalized and effective learning experience.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon receiving a request from a prospective student on Thumbtack, I will promptly arrange a trial lesson lasting 30 minutes. During this initial session, students will have the opportunity to experience the structure and dynamics of the lessons. Additionally, we will establish specific goals and often start learning a song on this first meeting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in Contemporary, Urban and Popular music from Chicago's Columbia College. I also worked in various piano bars around the country, such as well known Howl at the Moon, performing 4 nights a week for several years. In addition, I have been teaching private lessons since 2013.
