Strangely, I learned about First Impressions Painting after my original painter was running behind and unable to complete the job (due to pre-scheduled vacation plans). Our entire family was to arrive in 3 days and the house was only halfway finished, while all our furniture remained piled high in the garage. Now, we found ourselves at the mercy of relying on an unknown painter. I began contacting different companies to explain the situation we were facing when I discovered Derek's company. As soon as I heard Derek's calm responses and his willingness to help us, I knew I had the right team. He was able to shift his current job for to work us in. That same afternoon, Derek gave us a fair bid, to begin work the next morning. They were all personable, trustworthy, and very hard-working completing the entire job hours before family arrived. As I have worked with tons of contractors throughout our 18 mos. of remodelling, I braced myself for the typical, hidden, financial costs that get added on later. Nope! What we had agreed upon matched the final bill. Refreshing! With warm weather approaching, and our exterior painting to consider, we will definitely contact First Impressions Painting again. Our first impressions of First Impressions Painting was/is outstanding!!! Thank you Derek and team for your superb work, and living up to your name! D & T

I didn’t end up doing the painting work but I appreciated his honesty and flexibility in the consult part as I was trying to figure out what we could do and afford before selling our house.

Estimate includes all paint, labor, and materials which include all preliminary prep work as well.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will set an appointment to meet the client and view property and discuss project details. Estimate will be given the same day as meeting. Upon hire a timeline and project details will be outlined for the customer.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started painting as a teenager to earn extra money during the summers. I eventually became the lead painter for several painting companies and a prominent restoration company. I ventured off on my own 5 years ago and have been delivering quality yet affordable repaints ever since!
