- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We want to be as accurate as possible for your quote. Because Top of the Class Clean, LLC not only cleans YOUR home but move in/move out homes and rentals, house sell preparations and small offices, there's a huge range of what we'll find. I rely on you to help me give you a good estimate since Good Information In means Good Information Out! By knowing the answers to these questions we improve our accuracy: 1. Has your home been under the care of a professional? 2. The first time my cleaning team arrives to the home it will be? DIRTY - requires significant amount of extra work. POOR - needs extra attention in several areas. AVERAGE - some extra work required. CLEAN - no extra work needed. 3. How many people and pets live (or lived) in the home?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Top of the Class Clean, LLC is a member of ARSCI, Association of Residential Service Cleaning International. ARSCI dedicates itself to the advancement of our industry through continuous educational publications, round tables, webinars, seminars, and conventions. They also have an online discussion forum where a cleaning question will be answered by other professionals. We have participated in all of their educational opportunities offered in our area plus a "Hot Topic" is utilized through a weekly conference call. Pam has her certification as a House Cleaning Technician, with certification through IICRC, Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification. Continuing education is required to maintain this certification.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Twenty five years as a dental hygienist. I loved my work and my patients but dentistry is changing, and it was time for a change for me. When I heard a news broadcast about student debt I was appalled. The consequences of that high debt, for the student, for all of us, is not acceptable. Using my resources, my skills, my desire to want to help, led me to this unique approach to a not so unique type of business.
