We hired Tony to fix our deck which leaked a lot of water into our
laundry room, located directly under deck. This had went on for several years. We showed Tony the problem and he told us exactly why it was leaking and described exactly what he would do to fix it. It had reach the pointed where it was unsafe to enter the laundry room due to all of the rotted wood of the structure. I thought it would take a minimum of two stouts workers at least week and a half to complete the work.
Tony worked by himself for 4 or 5 days and completed the entire job, I’ve never seen a man work so hard and fast it was almost like a crew of workers. As far as I known he never took a break.
The laundry room was in sad shape. It was unsafe to enter due to all of the rotten wood of the structure. He used the best of materials, a water proof 2x6 along the inner wall supporting the weight of the deck which prior to that had 2x4s untreated about 6 inches long spaced apart 3 or 4 feet to support the whole deck on the inside wall.
He is the type of person who will use the best materials because of his personal pride of doing the best job possible for who he’s working for.
He is one of the very best contractors I have ever hired and we have hired several working on our place in Port Orford and our home before this one. I’m sure there’s some pretty good contractors out there but he has to be one of the best.

My husband and I recently bought a gazebo kit from Yardistry, fully intending to assemble it ourselves. The boxes arrived, and we opened everything up to inventory all of the parts. We realized very quickly that we were in way over our heads. Boards of all shapes and sizes, about a million nuts, bolts, screws, brackets, etc. 😳 We stepped back and said "Now what?" This is when we had the great luck of finding Tony.
Tony is professional, a terrific communicator, hardworking, fair, smart, thoughtful, punctual, thorough, experienced - and the bonus is that he's just a great guy who's a pleasure to be around! Tony really is the complete package! (By the way, Tony did a beautiful job of assembling our new gazebo . . . in TWO days, all by himself!)

Tony was a joy to work with! The quality of his work, his attention detail, his work ethic were just some of the things that stood out for us. He took care of some non-deck related issues that would enhance our enjoyment of the deck and make it last longer. Tony was thoughtful and creative in creating a a shower that met my disability needs -- the space available is small and in spite of the limits, what he created works well. And he is thoughtful, responsible and kind. I recommend him to all my friends/acquaintences.

Tony did quite a lot at my house. He built a boardroom for me a very large shed as well as installed and finished a large solar vent in my kitchen. His ideas and professionalism was the best I have experienced with a handyman on island and I’ve owned my home since 1999 I think it’s because he was a contractor before in Seattle as well as his engineering and design experience amazing. He is worth the money as I found he accomplished more per hour then if I had a bid and waited for someone to complete and make the time will continue to use Tony as much as he’s free !
