Introduction
Hi. I'm Rachel. I'm a dog trainer in Central Oregon. I have helped train dog owners with dogs of all ages and ability levels - from puppy manners to behavior modification to advanced trick and service training (CGC, etc.) I have studied various training methods and found combinations that seem work well for these different scenarios. The most important aspect of training, in my opinion, is teaching the dog's human pack to understand them and communicate with them more clearly.

Rachel changed my life thanks to her expertise and patience with my Mastiffs. I was nervous to walk my dogs due to their agression and lack of obedience. Now im confident and eager to take them to new places!

Rachel is very easy to work with, knows dogs, and listens well to the issues their owners are dealing with. We were ready to give up on our one year old Wheaton Terrior/Pitbull rescue when she started being very leash reactive towards other dogs. Barking, snarling, snapping etc. the first thing Rachel did after meeting our Frankie was to back us off the edge and reassure us that Frankie wasn't mean or aggressive just a bit fearful. She worked with me to teach me ways to react that would not increase Frankie's fear but would calm her and normalize the experience of passing other dogs on leash. Frankie is progressing very well- she still pulls towards other dogs but no snarling etc. Rachel has a wonderful balance of loving on the dog and knowing when to remind her that the human is the pack leader. I highly recommend Rachel and am so glad that she was there when we needed her because Frankie has turned out to be an awesome, loving dog!
