Tyler was extremely professional and friendly throughout the repair process. Unlike many contractors, he spent no time bad-mouthing the guy who was there before. He quickly assessed the issue, developed a plan and provided a reasonable ball-park estimate on the spot. He kept us apprised during the work. Final cost came in under the high end of the estimate. We intend to use Jaxon for any future repairs or projects.

Jaxon Construction installed a floor (LVP) for me in three rooms in a basement. Tyler Jaxon was very thorough in ensuring I understood the pros and cons of different choices, being clear about what was included, and then he went the extra mile to complete the details of the work to my satisfaction. The asking price for the labor was reasonable and I am very happy with the finished result.

I did not hire Jaxon Construction company. I met with Tyler I thought we had a great understanding around my project. He promised me a quote by early next week. (8th) I waited until the following Thursday to reach out. I sent a message seeking the estimate but I have not heard from Tyler and it has been 10 days. I understand if the company has decided to step back but a simple text would be nice. I have no idea what went wrong, but I wish them the best.

Poor communication and response time. Strung me along for over a month scheduling and rescheduling the project. Eventually cancelled the day before leaving me to find an alternative contractor.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of my pricing is on my website. Ok, I mainly just want you to see my cool new website :) Prices and skills really are on there though.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
- Make sure I really understand the scope of the job and what the customer wants. - Make sure we are on the same page for scheduling and rate/estimate. - Show up, complete the job. Customer loves me forever :)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a lot of experience from working for my uncle's construction company in Eugene, OR growing up. When I was younger he would give me jobs ranging from painting to pressure washing and landscaping. As I grew up the jobs did too and he would everything from installing toilets to hanging drywall and roofing. I have experience in almost every aspect of home building and maintenance and am very grateful to have had the experience I did. In the very near future I will be a certified General Contractor and Home Inspector.
