- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a flat rate of $45, plus any gratuity my client deems appropriate. Balloons, flowers, confetti, etc. are available for a small additional fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After getting the details (occasion, date, time, etc.) it's time for the fun part- I find out what song(s) my client wants, any desired customization's, and any extras such as flowers or balloons. As the date approaches I touch base and check in for any last minute changes or additions. An average telegram usually lasts about a minute and a half - the perfect length as it can become difficult for folks to keep an expression of surprise on their face much longer! :) I also can personalize and mix as many as 3, or sometimes 4, songs together for a fun mash-up.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've studied classical voice both privately and at Tanglewood University, as well as acting at Hayward State and Shakespeare Santa Cruz. I have appeared in numerous productions at Cabrillo Stage Professional Musical Theatre, and I am now Artistic Director for Santa Cruz Performing Arts. I enjoy leading the family sing-alongs at the Rio Theatre that have included the Sound of Music, Grease, Mary Poppins, and the Wizard of Oz, and the Yellow Submarine.
