FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Estimated repair costs are given up front on all jobs if possible. I charge a $50 diagnostic fee to come out and assess all jobs in order to give the most accurate estimates. If you approve the repair and cost, the diagnostic fee will NOT be applied. The diagnostic fee will only be charged if the estimate is declined. Payments for invoices are due at the time of service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will ask for information about the job and when you will be available for the job to be done. I will come out and assess the job and give an estimate. If the estimate is approved I will very likely complete the job at that time. Once the job is complete I will create an invoice and collect for the agreed price, then send an invoice to your email.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed plumbing contractor and have been a plumber since 2013. The requirements for a contractor are one year of work as a journeyman and passing two tests. The requirements for a journeyman are three years of work as an apprentice and passing one test. There are no requirements for an apprentice. Continuing education is also required for all pluming journeyman and contractors.
