FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For performances in the Oklahoma City metro and surrounding areas, our flat rate for weddings is $450, which includes attending the rehearsal, music while guests are being seated, special music during the wedding, recessional music, and the reception. Our rates may vary for an extended performance beyond 3 hours total, and for a location further away from the Metro. We are happy to discuss your needs and find what best suits you. For business or special occasion venues, rates are typically $150 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to initially discuss date, time, location, expectations, and compensation via email or text, then meet briefly to discuss the venue, specifics, concerns, etc. This gives us both confidence about who we're dealing with and what's expected.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a husband and father of two, I've played guitar for 30+ years. My military background, and business management experience working for the University of Oklahoma, and my undergrad engineering and masters degrees provide a wealth of knowledge, experience, and confidence. Susan plays flute, whistles, and Bodhran, and earned her masters in voice. Her son Ellis has 10 years of experience playing violin, trained by conductor and violinist Karén Khanagov. Ellis fills out our unique Celtic sound. Pierce-Hart Celtic trio performed weekly at Sean Cummings Irish Pub in Oklahoma City from 2012 -2015. We’ve performed at the OKC Arts Festivals in 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016. Our ArtMoves - Arts Council performances include Leadership Square, Robinson Renaissance, Devon Tower, Chase Bank, The Metro Library, for business events, holiday celebration, birthdays, special music for church service, and weddings. We perform for OU in Norman, and OU Health Sciences Center graduate/doctoral student convocations.
