B&H never discussed pricing prior to starting work. I then learn it’s $400+ for less than 30 minutes of work. When asked why/how, I’m told there’s a two hour minimum at $150/hr for labor. Keep in mind, this was shared AFTER the work was completed. In return I shared the invoice with my bookkeeper for payment. 24 hours later the company text me advising they will cut their weld off if payment is not received. Typically we remit payment on a 14 day net unless otherwise noted. I’ve received multiple text and calls every single day for payment. Today makes the fourth business day since services were rendered. Clearly this company is broke and don’t understand how invoices are typically paid in business.

Mr Faulkner you know that isn’t completely true. Here is how it actually went. Pricing was discussed prior to the work that was done. Every mobile welding company has a minimum that is paid regardless how long it take. You should’ve discussed the net pay prior to work. Every “most” jobs I completed are paid right after. No net pay. You also said “I’ll transfer money to pay you tomorrow “ not 4 days later. The company isn’t broke, just keeping invoices paid to date.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do military discount. All so if you refer us to someone and the job follows through we pay you $50-100 depending on job size.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet & greet, explain the process, make sure their happy with it! If not we will come to an agreement on how the process will be followed out.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Welding school for 2 years, certified in pipe & structural welding
