Introduction
My number one goal in lessons is to make playing the cello fun and easy! My unique teaching style has helped students win competitions, sit first chair in their school orchestras, attend reputable summer music programs, and go on to study at prestigious music conservatories. I love helping students meet their goals and build their confidence through music! I have tons of teaching experience virtually and have worked with students throughout North America and as far as Australia! In my professional career, I am the Cello Artist Faculty for the Emerald Coast Chamber Music Festival, and I perform as an orchestra musician with Sinfonia Gulf Coast. I received my Doctor of String Performance from Florida State University and have held university positions in Georgia, Florida, and Oklahoma.

Jordan has been meeting with my son weekly for lessons. My son has nothing but great things to say so far! He says Jordan is helping with him with his rhythm and tackling difficult pieces relevant to what he is working on in school. Communications have been timely, and he is flexible on top of being very kind. Don't pass up on Jordan! For reference my son is a Sophmore in High School and has been playing cello since 5th grade.

Dr. Galvarino is one of the best cello teachers you could possibly hire! Many people have concerns about hiring a virtual/online teacher due to the quality of the education, but I am here to tell you that this is not an issue in his cello lessons. Dr. Galvarino really pushes his students to enjoy high levels of cello playing, and he also has the patience to ensure you are understanding the concept that he is teaching. He also has a lot of experience teaching virtually in the United State and internationally, so the virtual limitations don't exist. I can't recommend this instructor for cello lessons enough!

Jordan has a great demeanor that creates trust and responsiveness with a student. My 17 year old son found his corrections and feedback to be supportive and allowed him to be excited about seeing future changes in his skills.
