FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally look at the going rate for our local area and then negotiate with the customer based on desired needs. I also have s daily rate for people who have several smaller projects that can be competed in a day.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When meeting with a customer I generally do an estimate by walking the job and taking pictures and then sending an estimate based on work desired. Supply cost and half the labor are due before the work begins and the last half are due upon completion of the desired job. working with several customers sometimes requires juggling but all major projects receive up to 2 days a week. I also offer payment plans through the joist app.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've spent several summers as a young adult building decks and running wire for an electrician in New construction residential. I have spent the last 5 years working on Angie's List/Handy as a carpenter and handyman with a 4.8 out of 5 stars and nearly 500 jobs completed.
