FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
After working for a National chain Electric service company i know what their pricing will be , extremely high. Now working for myself with 31 years in the business , I can now offer the same services at much lower rates. I do offer discounts for veterans. I do generally charge a 25 dollar dispatch fee , but waive it with work done.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Rough estimates and pricing can be difficult with electrical work, but with good pictures and explanations like, what they were doing when issue occurred, if they have recently had someone work on their electrical system, age of their home, etc. always makes it a little easier.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My Grandfather started Able Electric Company in Broken Arrow Oklahoma in 1964. I had five uncles all Electrician's as well. I started running trouble calls with my father in 1989 and became a third generation Electrician.
