Hello, I’m Deb (Wells) Hanson, My forte as a designer is to create beautiful spaces on a budget. I also have a knack for repurposing furniture and have sold some if my pieces over the years. I am always excited to use the furniture or accessories my clients currently have whenever possible. For example; The Airbnb staging pictured below was done almost entirely using furnishings my client had, as well as incorporating some family heirlooms from world travels. Another area of specialty has been preparing a house to be sold quickly and for the best price possible. I absolutely love upgrading a home inside and out! Ms Wells has a keen eye for decorating. She was invaluable in redesigning my kitchen and making value added suggestions and design choices within my budget for my entire home. Her design work was money well spent and certainly increased the rentability, curb appeal and rental rates my property could command from $1300/mo to $2100/mo. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will do your design work for $45 per hour. The initial consultation fee is $100.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is for us to have an in person consultation so we can get to know each other and talk about your likes or dislikes regarding decor. We will also to discuss the goals and budget for the project. If we feel great about working together, we will review the cost, sign a contract and move forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many years of studying publications such as Veranda, Traditional Home and more. I do not have a formal education in this area, I’ve just been doing it for a long time. Very passionate about decorating.
