FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At JB Enterprising, I strive to offer competitive and transparent pricing. My base rate for most handyman work is $60 per hour, but larger projects may be priced at a flat rate depending on the scope and complexity. Materials are either provided by the customer or sourced by me, with the cost included in the final quote. For certain projects, discounts may be available for repeat clients or larger jobs. All quotes are provided upfront, and any changes to the project or additional work will be discussed before proceeding to ensure there are no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I start by discussing the project details either through a phone call, message, or in-person consultation. I like to understand the scope of the work, any specific requirements, and the customer's preferences. Once I have the details, I provide an initial estimate and timeline for the project. If everything looks good, we can schedule a start date. Throughout the job, I keep the customer informed of progress and any potential changes. My goal is to ensure clear communication and deliver quality work that meets the customer's expectations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have hands-on experience in various trades, including woodworking, electrical work, and general home repair, gained over several years of working on residential projects. In addition to practical experience, I’ve completed training in safety standards and specialized installation techniques to ensure that each job is done safely and efficiently. I also stay up to date on the latest tools, materials, and methods to deliver the best results for my customers.
