We are in the process of moving and are about to begin showing our House. With that said, we contacted Horton Hauls Junk this morning to see if they could pick up a pile of junk that we accumulated from cleaning out our basement. Within minutes, they contacted us and within an hour after that, they were at our house picking up the stuff that we needed removed. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We base our pricing on volume. The price is based on the amount of space your items take in our trucks. We have a minimum charge to cover our overhead but all quotes are free.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We arrive and assess the job. We make that we know exactly what needs to be done before we provide a quote. We give the estimate if the owner accepts we start to work immediately. We give two hour windows and give a 20-30 minute courtesy call before our arrival
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our workers are trained constantly on proper lifting techniques. We also train our teams to be respectful and courteous at all times. Our founder has a degree in Chemistry from The Ohio State University.
