Kevin was so helpful with the opening of my spray tan studio. I had an interesting need, considering Spray tanning studios aren’t built everyday. He did his research to know exactly what he needed in place for my plans. He had all my plans done in a timely manner making sure that everything we did would pass inspections the first time. He was very thorough and didn’t cut corners to just get it done because he knew that I would pay the price later (if I couldn’t pass inspection). He really knows what he is doing and takes care of everything. He was right there to help when I needed to make TWO addendums due to contractor change (not anything having to do with him) He got the addendums done fast so there was no delay in the opening of my business Price was very reasonable. We will definitely use him again when in need of an architect.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is often hard on Thumbtack to give an accurate estimate. For example, with a new building, I may have to do electrical, HVAC, structural, plumbing, and civil design. That is why I offer a free, no commitment consultation visit with the client, and then determine exactly what services are needed and then give a better price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to sit down with the client before the project starts and really understand what the goals of the project are and how they envision using the building. This is where I have learned being a good listener has been my best asset.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Masters of Architecture from Lawrence Tech University, Bachelors of Science in Technology from Bowling Green State University....20 years of experience in the architectural industry.
