Beauty is my passion and expertise! Hi, my name is Cori, and I am a certified Makeup Artist through the Conservatory of Esthetics, Chicago. I offer a wide range of services including airbrush and traditional full face makeup applications with stip eyelashes. Without Cori I do not know what I would have done with my photoshoot. She made the whole experience relaxing and easy. Cori went above and beyond what I hired her to do. Not only did she make my makeup perfect but she even helped me come up with the outfits, hair styles and vision for the shots. I seriously can’t say enough about her and would recommend her to anyone needing makeup or any type of creative services. She is extremely talented, loves what she does and it shows through her work!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on each individuals specific needs. There is not a one price fits all, so please review my website under Beauty By Cori Rist to get an idea of the different services we offer. I will be happy to send a more individualized quote if you submit a request under that specific tab. I love helping where and when I can, and I always do my best to be flexible and meet the needs of my clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to request a quote so I have an understanding of the client's needs; then I check my availability, and we go from there. I enjoy getting to know my customers and spend time making sure I collect enough information to meet their individual request. The devil is in the details, and I don't miss a beat. I also have a conversation detailing the client's desired makeup/image looks and color choices.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified Beauty Makeup Artist Certified Bridal Makeup Artist Certified Media/Film Makeup Artist Certified Camouflauge Makeup Artist (Scars) I am a certified makeup artist (20+ years) and have worked with some of the most notorious names in the business from Chanel, Nars, Lancome, Shiseido, Vidal Sassoon and more. I am a former fashion model, fashion & beauty TV host and producer for CBS and NBC, a beauty editor for a global website, and I have been in the beauty/entertainment business since I was a kid. I have worked both behind and in front of the camera, so I know all there is to know about the beauty industry. I love what I do and enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with my clients.
