- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If the work description is simple, then I can give a quote for work online. However, if it is something that is more complicated, I prefer to meet with the homeowner onsite in order to provide a more accurate estimate. Examples would be older homes where current products may not fit . Or modern homes that need custom installations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet with new customers and evaluate the need, understand the function and offer any knowledge or experience. Often, with these type conversations, we can refine the project need and style. Resulting in a more accurate scope of work and better cost control.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With years of experience, from residential repairs and remodels, work on historic homes, light commercial build-outs I can offer the benefit of my experience as well as ways to save money.
