Hello, My name is Cali Arata and my fiancé Richaud Thompson have started our own cleaning company. We have 8+ years experience and decided it was time to start our own business. We have our business license and insured. Thumbtack does not allow all business license to be posted quite yet but they are working hard on making that happen. We are vaccinated and do wear mask when appropriate or asked and follow the CDC guidelines as well. We are eco-friendly and provide a free consultation to come up with an action plan with you. Initially, I was excited to hire this cleaning crew. They had quoted me a little under $600 to clean three units in the same building. On the day that they arrived they could only access one unit. I expected the cleaning to be a full deep clean from a move out. They considered this singular unit finished. They did not clean the appliances. There were still dusty areas and walls had not been wiped down. I considered this job incomplete. They stated they were going to come back the next day to finish the other units, but we’re demanding for half the payment to be sent even though Barely 25% of the job had been done. I sent over a third of the payment in good faith that they would come back and complete all the units to reasonable expectations for a move out clean. Upon receiving the payment, it was radio silence. I would not hire this company again.

Hi there,we received a payment of $185.00 at 10pm last night..Payment for each unit is $189.00. I tried to confirm multiple times before with you as we close at 5pm…We require a deposit of half which was $283.50 if the home owner will not be present…there was also painters there so we could not complete the work as we can not clean while their painting…you stoped responding and didn’t give payment until 10pm last night which we did not see until this morning…since we did not receive payment in time nor did you confirm we did not complete the job as we had concerns of receiving the rest of payment as we do not do business like this. Also the pictures you provided are of the units that we did not do.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are set prices only. We do not charge by the hour or square footage. Our prices are based on how many bedrooms and bathrooms are being cleaned, travel, gas, cleaning supplies and the services that we offer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start off with a free consultation to meet with our new clients to go over an action plan together to clean their home. Consultations can be before their appointment or same day as their scheduled clean. We communicate throughout the entire process to make sure our clients are 100% satisfied with their service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have 8+ years experience working in this industry. We are new small business that started in April of 2021. Although we are new at being business owners, we are not new to the process and skills that it takes to clean your home.
