I was very specific with what I wanted, but the result was almost pitiful. I paid $1700 and two weeks later you could hardly tell they had been there. I asked for one area to be weeded and some kind of weed prevention to be used. Two young boys showed up and pulled weeds but didn't take any steps to keep the weeds from growing back. I asked for all the bushes around the front and side of the house to be cut back as much as they could be without killing them. When they left the bushes and trees were still overhangng the sidewalk leading up to the porch. It was a total waste of money.

Hello Mr. King. We apologize for your poor experience. I appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as we take any bad review or comment seriously. As we had discussed on our previous phone call, there is no long-term guaranteed way to prevent weeds from growing back. Our employee’s did weed the area and lay down a weed pre-emergent, as reflected in your estimate and invoice. However, due to the rest of the plants in the beds, we could not use anything stronger without the risk of damaging or killing the rest of your landscape. As far as cutting back the bushes, in order to prevent this miscommunication of satisfaction, we walk each customer through the finished work before leaving the job site. Big Ox Pro Lawns has delivered a beautiful landscape for our home. They took care of everything in one day. After a few days, some plants were looking weak, and I sent a picture and a message, and a few days later everything was replaced to match the quality of what they had delivered since day one. A great company with personable service and care. We hope to work with them next year to add some more trees to the backyard and upkeep the rest of the landscaping. :)
