- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Quoting a price with often limited information is hard. I prefer to be all inclusive on the pricing. There isn't an extra charge for this or that, but rather a simple flat fee. Low quotes are usually indicative of extras that will be added later. I like simple quotes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am most interested in hearing what the customer wants the images to do. Asking for a shot of a building is one thing but making that marketable for commercial reals estate is different from being featured on a website. Example: Showing a large parking lot is a feature in real estate but it is a distraction for website use. We consider those things.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Extensive 2-3 weeks of specified training per year. Being a certified professional photographer requires continuing education. Also, 20 years of working with clients to create images have me exposed to a broad line of work
