- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Meet the client in person. 2) Present myself and answer any question the customer may have about me, my company and/or my work. 3) Discuss the details of the project customer have in mind including details of the blue print/drawing/sketch if available. I tend to do a lot of questions about the project to make sure we are in the same page. 4) Go back to my office and analyze the project and prepare the quotation. During this time, I may call the customer if any question arise. I usually text informing the client I sent and email with questions, so the customer is aware of the email to get a reply as quick as possible. 5) Once quotation is done, my preference is to meet in person to present/explain the quotation and answer any question the customer may have. 6) We sign a contract for the project with all the terms and conditions associated with the project. 7) Communication, Communication, Communication. The customer will be aware of what is happening and how we are moving forward on every stage of the project.
