FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had dreamed of doing something like this for years, and at 49 years old, decided it was time to follow my dream!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When comparing rates ask how many faces can be drawn in an hour? You may hire someone at a lower hourly rate, but if they produce fewer drawings, is it really a bargain? Do they have referrals from satisfied clients? What does the artist provide? Custom Paper? Bags for the drawings? Lighting? How do the handle additional time if needed?
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Being a professional Caricature Artist is a "Real Job". There are some who do this as a hobby, or quick way to make some cash, but those of us who do this professionally, respect our services and our customers.
