Here’s my issue with everything. 1. Originally you said that you can come out the same day on 12/31. I was going off Vic’s expertise and he self diagnosed the issue with the dryer via phone. Then called me an hour before you scheduled saying that the stores were closed. Which was understandable because it’s around the holidays.But I thought that was something Vic would have been knowledgeable about which was why I asked him in the beginning…”How long have you been working on Appliances” on 1/2/25 the next date we scheduled maintenance for. 2. 1/2/25, I asked Vic a direct question of “how much would it cost for you to fix it”. Remind you… this was after replaced the part that he self diagnosed, which was the thermostat. Then he decided that it was the timer. Vic replied to me and said it would be between $60-$90 for the timer part. $200 total at the most. (On 1/2/25 I had Zelle him $80 for the service call + the $20 for the part he replaced and self diagnosed). 3. On 1/3/25 I was thinking since Vic dealt with the part stores on a regular basis that he probably had an idea of the pricing for a timer. Now you’re telling me timer $140. Which if you were uncertain we could’ve looked it up online together yesterday before leaving.…. Now, today your total nearly $290. 4. Then Vic said he was not going to charge me for coming back out today for fixing it. But now you’re saying you’re charging me $45 installment/ installation fee. 4. I would been I would’ve been OK with paying the $125 (an Amazon link that he sent me)for the part, but that just was not the price told from our conversation. I was honestly expecting to only spend the money for the timer that we discussed. Since I’ve already paid the $80 service call yesterday… which was not the issue.. not what I expected after reading the few reviews, which is why I did decide to go with you Vic. Thank you for returning the $20 for the part that you self diagnosed. Thumbtack please help me find somebody to help fix this issue. That’s more knowledgeable, trustworthy, and that can get the job done. I truly wish things would have turned out differently. Please see the picture attached of how Vic left my laundry room. Sad

I really appreciate clarification on this dilemma but there was no way for me to know how much parts cost ahead of time unless customer provides a model number but I didn’t even asked for it. Usually just take it down during initial service call visit or after diagnostic. Unfortunately it’s a hit and miss sometimes. One I did last week turned just like this one except without the drama. Hope you find a cheap replacement or someone else who can fix it cheaper for you 🙏 and I am glad you finally figured out how to work a communication portal just to leave a one star review 😅 by the way posting pictures of your dirty trashy laundry that I had to sweep up just to comfortably work in that area is not a good way to show my quality of work nor that you are a clean person. Unfortunately i didn’t bring gloves 🧤 with me to touch that nor did you provided me with a dust pan. I wish pictures could convey the smell 👃 , but then everyone who sees this review would be vomiting 🤮 because my pants 👖 smelled horrible from working in there. Didn’t charge any extra money for it nor for the $20 part that the customer felt that it didn’t need replaced. Also didn’t charge $45 installation charge because I was supposed to come back and install a timer and I was going to combine both parts installation into one $45 charge because it turned out that not only the thermal fuse was bad also the timer quit working. Anyway I am sorry about your experience, but I tried to help you and seems like our company is not good enough for you. Once again I don’t make the prices for these parts. HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎆
